Segregating waste

It is compulsory in a lot of areas to segregate wastes as per the local ordinance. People have to separate biodegradable materials from non-biodegradable materials. We try to segregate the trash into separate types of junk so that it becomes easier for the city to identify the material. We have a container for all tin and aluminium cans, a container for all plastics, a container for plastic bottles, and a container for all biodegradable materials except for papers. We collect papers separately. As for breakable bottles, we collect them also and sell them to the junk man. Some plastic bottles can also be sold when a sufficient quantity is accumulated. This is a great idea considering that it reduces the load in the dump site. It is a good practice to recycle, and I think that there are a larger number of people doing it in a town where you have too. I have lived in other cities that provide a recycle bin and it is left up to the people to put it to use and recycle, even though it is picked up by the city, in those towns most people end up using the recycle bin for storage, or some other purpose. We really should recycle and help save our environment. We are not only helping the community but we could also earn some amount for selling those junks.

well separating trash is a needy thing.
we here do the same .
but the trash is not quite as indepth.
we put all bottles and cans/ plastics into one .
why i feel if we had 2 others we could more eficiently make the work much easier for the ones who come to collect.
we are a bit behind but im shure that all will change one day,vs the equipment use to cary the items.
paper we do separate and can mix cardboard with it . like the blog nick found this very interesting.
