Report: London's Iconic Live Music Venue Garage To Re-Open In March
MAMA Group Plc has reported that almost after 2 years it will reopen it's doors to the public after a $2 million refurbishment of it's iconic music venue Garage. It has a capacity of total 770 people. There is a "mini Bar" will can hold up to 50 more people. All three rooms will be linked via an internal circulation staircase. It has much improved sound systems and sightlines, and since it is fully digitally equipped bands can produce excellent quality live recordings for on the spot release should they so desire. It's an option which new bands should utilise to promote their new stuff. People usually like to take something home with them. It not only gives them a chance to see their band live but also take the live recording home instantly. What else can be better.

Robert Johnson-legend
Robert Johnson possessed extraordinary talent and skill. He was considered a bit odd and eccentric at this time, but in reality he wasn't. It was just his style of playing. Some of his so called oddities were that Johnson turned from the audience while in the middle of playing, would leave suddenly from the stage during a performance, and sometimes even during breaks in his set. But he was one blues musician who mesmerised the audience with his music but his wordings. During Robert Johnson's time these were considered oddities but these days they are not and some musicians actually do these things today like Edward Van Halen to hide their techniques from other guitarists or to avoid being mobbed by the audience. Some of my favorite songs by him were "Hell-Hound On My Trail", "Me And The Devil Blues" and "Cross Road Blues". If you like blues music, and you are able to find his music in stores, give Robert Johnson a try. I am sure you will get hooked on to his style. His music will simply mesmerise you and submerse you in a different world.

lars urich
Lars Ulrich can be credited to giving Metallica life as a group. I guess it all started out when he gave an advertisement looking for members in forming a new group which led to its formation. His first drum kit he got was from his grandmother at the of age 15 and since then he has pounded out some excellent stuff. Before forming Metallica, Lars Ulrich was following a group called DiamondHead through out Europe. Hey did you know that he occasionally tackled the singing duties for 'Am I Evil.' Some of his favorite foods, places and drinks are: to eat Taco Bell is his favorite food joint. The foods which he simply loves : cheese, mayonnaise and French food and some of his favorite drinks are: Coors Light and Bombay Sapphire Gin Martinis. He is married to a doctor. His wife's name is Skylar, and they have one son whose name is Myles. He is an avid an art collector, while a few of the activities which he likes to participate in are: scuba diving, skiing, movies, a bit of jogging to keep in shape. The sport teams which Lars follows are: San Jose Sharks, the 49ers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His musical career has been influenced by the following major groups: DiamondHead, Motorhead, Deep Purple. He simply loved the earlier stuff and it really influenced his playing style alot. He simply has alot of energy which helps him to pound away for hours. He has an excellent attitude which messes quiet well with the group. Lars can play the soft light stuff as well as the heavier hard hitting stuff with ease.

periodic fable
Periodic fable
The heaviest known element was recently discovered by physicist at Yale’s research center. Tentatively called ‘Administratium’ at the moment, it has no protons or electrons and thus an atomic number of 0. But it does have one neutron, 125 assistant neutrons, 75 vice-neutrons, and 11 assistant vice-neutrons. These add up to an atomic mass of 312;particles cohere in the nucleus through a force that involves a continuous exchange of meson-like particles, ‘moron’.
Lacking electrons, administratium is completly inert, but it does have a chemical signature: detection is really very much straightforward as it impedes every reaction it comes in contact with. The physicist say a minute amount of adminstratium caused a reaction to take over four days to end finally although, normally less than a second would have sufficed. Neither does it decay over its normal life of three years; it undergoes a reorganization in which assistant-neutrons, vice-neutrons exchange places and the atomic weight usually increases thereafter. Research also indicates that adminstratium occurs quite naturally in the atmosphere. Typically, the concentration occurs at nodal points like government agencies, large corporations, universities and hospitals, etc.
Scientists caution that adminstratium is toxic at any level of concentration and will easily destroy other more productive reactions in its vicinity. Attempts are on to see how to rein in adminstratium and prevent irreversible damage, but till date the results are not very promising. Researchers are trying hard to find a solution though. But Adminstratium seems to be well established so it will take time to weed out. We will keep you posted. Watch this space for more.

mood is like the weather....kinda gloomy
Mood is like the weather, kinda gloomy
Have you ever watched kids playing on a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain lapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun fading into the night?
Do you run through each day on the fly?
When asked," how do u do? "do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed,
With the next hundred chores running around in your head?
Have you ever told your child, "we'll do it tomorrow"
And in your haste not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch?
Let a good friendship die?
Just call to say Hi?
When you worry and hurry through your day
It's like an unopened gift just thrown away.
Life is is not a race. Take it slower.
Hear the music, before the song is over.
If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?
